5.23.8.3.2.2.1. Parts request by user

  1. The parts request is made by clicking on the Request to ERP number button.

    -> The Request Ident Number [Create a part ident request] dialog box opens.

  2. The user selects a different material in the list field, enters a comment and confirms by clicking on Request [Apply for].

    -> A confirmation of the request is displayed under Activities (possibly only after the page has been updated).

  3. As soon as the request has been administratively processed and accepted (i.e. an ERP number has been assigned), the user receives a notification.

5.23.8.3.2.2.2. Administration calls up the "Part number manager" in the dashboard

The part requested by the user is now listed in the dashboard, in the part number manager. It can be filtered by status and date.

  1. Click on the part to open the Edit request dialog box.

  2. Possible actions are now:

    • Reject

    • Assign

    Click on Assign to open the table view.

  3. Click on button Assign Part To LinkDB Request:

    -> The Request Ident Number dialog box opens.

    The fields displayed correspond to the role setting for the Admin in the USERDIALOG.

  4. Make the desired settings and confirm with OK.

    -> A confirmation message appears that the part has been successfully assigned. The system then automatically switches to the Edit request dialog.

  5. Click on the Finish request button to confirm the request.

    A comment can optionally be entered.

    Click on Delete assignment to remove the assignment (without an entry in the LinkDB).

5.23.8.3.2.2.3. Further procedure for the user

Once the request for part release has been accepted by the administration, standards body or a key user, the following changes take effect:
