Arc (center, 2 limit points, radius)
Follow the instructions of the status line:
Choose arc start (by point): The point does not need to be on the arc!
An imaginary line through center point and clicked point limits the arc on the arc start.
Choose arc end (by point): The point does not need to be on the arc!
An imaginary line through center point and clicked point limits the arc on the arc end.
Once arc start and arc end are specified, in order to specify the radius temporary auxiliary lines are displayed. Once the radius is determined these lines will disappear again.
Choose radius: Once arc start and end are specified, the arc "hangs" on the cursor. Determine the radius with a single mouse click. Whether the point is on the arc or outside doesn't matter. Only the distance to the center point is decisive.
-> The single parameters are displayed in the docking window Edit element, where they can be adjusted.
Determine arc over the Start point and End point of a secant and a radius.
Follow the instructions of the status line:
-> The single parameters are displayed in the docking window Edit element where they can be adjusted.
Arc (center, 2 limit points, circumference point)
![[Note]](https://webapi.partcommunity.com/service/help/latest/pages/jp/partwarehouse/doc/images/note.png)
Note Arc (center, 2 limit points, radius) (compare above) and Arc (center, 2 limit points, circumference point) (this function) are similar.
In the first case the radius is directly determined, in the second case indirectly by a reference point on the arc.
Choose point on radius: Once arc start and end are specified, the arc "hangs" on the cursor. Determine the radius with a single mouse click. Whether the point is on the arc or outside doesn't matter. Only the distance to the center point is decisive.
-> The single parameters are displayed in the docking window Edit element, where they can be adjusted.
Arc through 3 points on circle
Specify arc with the help of three points. The center point is automatically calculated.
Follow the instructions of the status line:
-> The single parameters are displayed in the docking window Edit element where they can be adjusted.
If fixed points had been used you have to make them accessible with Change into formula point. Alternatively you can allocate a new point via New allocation of reference point (if already created before in the Sketch history).
Arc (center, start angle, end angle, radius)
Determine arc via Start angle and End angle and Radius.
Once Start angle and End angle are specified, in order to specify the radius temporary auxiliary lines are displayed. Once the radius is determined these lines will disappear again.
Follow the instructions of the status line:
-> The single parameters are displayed in the docking window Edit element where they can be adjusted.
Create arc between two objects (line, circle or arc).
Follow the instructions of the status line:
-> The radius is displayed in the docking window Edit element. Changes at the lines have to be directly made in the Sketch history, if needed.
Arc on circle or arc works analogously.
