1.4.1.2. Structure of the CSV file

By default, the CSV file should have been created with the following structure:

Structure of the header:

  • 1st row: Name of the table columns (variable name)

  • 2nd row: Description of the table columns

  • 3rd row: Unit of the table columns

  • 4th row and others: Value of the table columns

If the three header lines are in a different order, they can be adjusted accordingly in the wizard or later in the node editor.

Structural information:

In the example above, the columns "REP1", "REP2" and "NN" define the structure. The column names are set individually in the wizard or later in the node editor.

Identifier for the respective STEP file:

In the example above, this is the "FileName" column, which contains the name of the respective STEP file. The individual setting of the relevant column name is NOT made in the wizard, but in the course of post-processing in the node editor. See Section 1.4.1.4.2, “ "3D-Preview from Attributes" Node”.

Unique product identifier:

In the example above, this is "Part Number". The individual setting of the relevant column name is made in the wizard or in the node editor.

Other columns (attributes):

Any number of columns contain attribute information.
