Select a column that actually contains a unique value as the identifier. In this example, that is ID.

Finally, the entry "articleassignmenttest" will appear under Catalogs.

-> The " Article Assignment Wizard" - "Article Number [Article assignment wizard - article number] " dialog box opens with the " Source " tabbed page selected.

(You may need to click the Catalog Selection [Catalog Selection] button and select "articleassignmenttest".)

You will see a preview table with 3 columns (Catalog, Partnumber, ID) and 6 rows.

  6. Go to the Target catalog [Target catalog] tabbed page.

Open the list box and select the " Catalog" [Catalog] checkbox, since the catalog name is located here.

Click outside the list box to close it and confirm your selection .

-> The table now displays the catalog entries from the CSV file.

-> The header displays the following:

    6 Products | 0 Products mapped | 0 Products selected

  7. Click the Execute Search [Execute Search] button.

-> The catalog name from the CSV file is compared with all available catalogs (that is, all those that also appear in the PARTadmin online catalog list ).

  8. Go to the Article Numbers [Article numbers] tabbed page.

  9. Select from the Part Number list box.

-> The preview shows 5 rows of entries in the PSOL catalogs and Article number (CSV) columns.

  11. Click the Search button (1 selected).

-> The progress bar is visible during the search process.

-> Once the search is complete, the table displays the result for the first row.

The " Quality " column shows that there is a 100% match. The " PSOL catalogs / Article number (CSV) " and " PSOL Result " columns confirm this in detail.

    Search type: Reverse lookup

Keep: The checkbox was automatically selected because a search result was found .

  12. Select the " Only unmatched [Only unmatched]" checkbox.

The button changes its appearance to " Search unmatched [Search unmatched]."

  13. Click the " Search [Search unmatched]" button unmatched [Search unmatched].

-> After the search is complete, search results will be displayed for all table rows. The search may take some time, especially the first time it runs, because a user-defined index is being generated.

Clicking on a result in the PSOL Result column opens it in PARTdataManager.

    [Note]Note

In the " Search type " column, you will see the entries " Reverse lookup [Reverse lookup] " and "Sub search [Sub search]." " Reverse lookup " always returns a 100% match, while with " Sub search," the match can appear anywhere in the string.

The checkbox in the "Keep [Keep] " column can be selected or deselected manually or using the options at the bottom of the list boxes.

  14. Switch to the Export tabbed page.

  15. In the Export column, deselect all rows except for one (e.g., "Bosch").

( For illustrative purposes, not all rows are exported at once here.)
