The following data is included in the index. These can therefore also be searched for in all languages:
Topological measures of length
A full-text search [Full-text search] also searches topological linear dimensions, which is particularly advantageous for own-part catalogs, as a detailed attribute table is often missing here. (Otherwise, the topology search [Topology search] and geometric search (3D) [Geometric search (3D)] are particularly useful)[24] [25]
Topological information is displayed in its own Topology information docking window.
The following figure shows an example where the textual search term "Tischplatte" is found in the table, however, the numerical value in the topological information.
You can find the project path [Project path] on the Search results tab page at project level in the Summary column.
When searching in a language other than the GUI language (in the following figure "bolt" in the German user interface), you will see in the extended display under Hits [if not everything is displayed, please click in the display area] that the hit was made via NB, Path and Description.
In the following a search with "head cap bolt ISO" is conducted.
The corresponding terms are highlighted on the Search results tab page:
On project level: In Standard number (NN), Standard text (NT) and Project path
On line level: In Standard number (NN), Standard text (NT) and Standard name (NB)
Hits based on table values are highlighted in yellow on the Search results tab page. In the following example, a search was carried out using the search term "Hexagon head screw D=10 L=50".
[24] The use of the feature requires an administratively updated full-text search index plus a correspondingly set configuration entry.
In the configuration file partsol.cfg
, block INDEX:LUCENE
, key TopologyCatalogs
add the desired catalog path for which this feature should be available in the following form:
cat/<catalog_name>
For details, see Section 1.3.3.6.6.15, “ Update full text search index (and geo search index ) for finding topological values via full text search ” in PARTsolutions Administration - Manual .
[25] The tolerance is set in the configuration file and cannot usually be changed. See $CADENAS_SETUP/partsol.cfg -> Block [FULLTEXTSEARCH] -> Key TopologyTolerance.
