eol.cfg > various blocks > each with the keys "expired" and "notify"

The blocks for the different phases are as follows:

  • message_nrnd: Not recommended for new designs

  • message_eos: End of sales

  • message_eop: End of production

  • message_eosr: End of service and repair

  • message_eol: End of life

The texts defined here can be used to store two points in time for the various phases of an End of Life cycle: On the one hand, when the target date is reached (expired), and on the other, the date for a corresponding notification (notify). The time (%DATE%) is taken from the entry in the Json file. The Json file is edited in PARTproject under Replacement after expiration (optional) [Replacement after expiration (Optional)] (see Section 5.9.2.12.2.1, “Editing in the Json editor ” in eCATALOG 3Dfindit ).
