Parts classified accordingly can be used for piping in NX, Creo or Revit, for example.
All parts from
standard catalogs are part of the Standards Classification and are
marked with the Standards icon 
in the top left corner.
All parts from supplier catalogs, which part information has a reference to a Standard part, are assigned to the Standards Classification together with the respective part from the Standard catalog in the respective class.

If you select Standards in the list box in the References dialog box, only standard parts are displayed.

In the case of PARTsolutions with ERP integration some more possibilities are given:
Directories that contain standard parts can be colored with any color (here in the following exemplary illustration in blue), so that it is clear at first glance where corresponding parts can be found. Furthermore these can be marked as preferred parts, etc.
