/ Add variant to link database

If you want to create a part in the LinkDB with a table value that is not contained in the characteristic attribute table, use this function.

Prerequisite

  • In order for the button in 3Dfindit , must be displayed in erpcustom.cfg, block WEB_ACTIONS, the key with the Value SENDMAIL_ACTION enabled be.

Function

  1. Select a data set that is closest to the variable to be changed.

  2. Click on the button.

    -> The Edit variant dialog box, which lists all variables and values of the component, opens.

  3. For example, change the value 8 from Nominal length (L) to 9, which does not appear in the characteristic attribute table, and confirm with OK.

    -> The New ident number [new ident-no.] dialog opens.

  4. Enter the ERP number [ERP Number], select the desired material [Material] and confirm with OK.

    The dialog remains open. You can now create another entry with a different material or close the dialog by clicking Cancel.

  5. The variant is now displayed in 3Dfindit.
