Open in the PARTdataManager a native part.

Call up the Create tables dialog box with Table --> Edit.

Assign a classification to the native part (for example, under eClass 5.1) [compare above].

Now call up the Class variables dialog box under Characteristics [Attributes] (Classification) using Browse ....

Select a class characteristic.

Cursor in "Value" field

Place the cursor in the Value field.

In the 3D view, click on Measure.... [Measure...] in the context menu

--> The Measurement dialog [Measure dialog] box opens.

In the 3D window, mark the desired areas, lines, points, etc.

Click Transfer.

--> The value is assigned to the currently selected class attribute.
