BFPA relies on CADENAS’ PARTcommunity portal

BFPA enters a partnership with CADENAS and integrates the 3D engineering data download portal PARTcommunity with its millions of free 3D CAD models of renowned component manufacturers into its new website. The members of BFPA are now provided with a new service: Engineers and designers can look for components, configure them and import them directly in a native format into the respective CAD system such as NX, Autodesk, Revit, SolidWorks etc.

Parker Component in the BFPA PARTcommunity Portal

BFPA is the only trade association representing hydraulics and pneumatics in the UK and its members represent around 75% of the market. Component manufacturers already represented on the download portal PARTcommunity get free extended access to this market and can market their products on a broad international basis. A prerequisite for a presence in PARTcommunity is an Electronic Product Catalog based on eCATALOGsolutions technology from CADENAS.

“Many of our large clients who use our parts management solution such as Daimler VW, MAN, P&G etc. are requesting to have access to the 3D product content of many BFPA members to enable them into incorporate their product into their designs,” explains Colin Johnson, Managing Director of CADENAS Solutions UK. “Therefore BFPA members can benefit hugely and increase sales from making an Electronic Product Catalog.”
