2.5.10.2.2. Insert 3D - Pattern recognition

SolidWorks automatically recognizes pattern.

In the following the procedure is described after the part has been transferred from PARTsolutions and the view has returned to the CAD.

  1. Under 1. Select method click on the button In Cylinder.

    Select a hole in the pattern.

    [Note]Note

    At the pattern origin the recognition does not work. Mark any other hole.

  2. The part is placed and the dialog box opens with the question "Create a pattern of this part based on the existing pattern?".

    Confirm with Yes.

  3. The part is placed in all pattern elements.
