  • Why calling the sample part DIN 1015 and not any?

    In PARTlinkManager you can see for which parts there are entries in the link database and in which columns.

    Here you can see that there are entries for DIN 1015 and that the individual rows have entries in the USA, Germany and Japan columns.

    Double-click on a line to open the part in PARTdataManager opens the part.

    If you want to check the behavior for any other parts and/or try things out yourself, simply add [Add dataset to link database] parts to the link database [Add dataset to link database] with record [Add dataset to link database] ( PARTdataManager ) or (3Dfindit Enterprise ).

  • Where you can see how the role "Purchineering" is named internally?

    In PARTadmin, category Roles, tab page Translations, scroll down the list of roles until you see the translation for "Purchineering".

    -> Then you see the corresponding internal role name "DEPARTMENT3".

    Switch to the General tab page in PARTadmin.

    -> Here you can see the general role settings such as preferred series [Preferred ranges], export condition [Export condition], display condition for part selection [Display condition for parts selection], etc.
