5.9.20. Tabbed page: Catalog spl itting

Catalog splitting is a function for deriving any number of independent catalogs from a central catalog. This is useful, for example, if different user groups should only receive a part of the entire catalog or if certain parts are irrelevant due to, for example, a lack of availability in certain countries or sectors. However, the biggest advantage of splitting a catalog is that all link paths, search and assembly paths are automatically adjusted when the catalog is split.

In order to Catalog Sharing tab page, the license key CNS2009*ECATADDONS*SEPARATIONTOOL needed. If this is not available, the license key can be retroactively if a catalogue division is desired. Contact please contact your contact person or support.

A specific configuration is required to extract the independent catalogs, with which the content and the variables used are first defined. If you then split the catalog, an independent catalog is created outside the original directory.
