8.2.1. Mark element as favorite

  1. Click at any level (catalog, directory, part family, or Table row) to the desired unfilled star .

    • Star Icon not filled in: The element is not Favourite.

    • Star Icon filled in yellow: The item is a Favourite.

    -> The Add to favorites list window opens.

    Here, for example, the ISO 4762 parts family has been marked as a favorite and assigned to the "List 2" list.

    Comments can be optionally set when creating lists. If they are available, you can also search for them. The search function helps you to quickly filter out the right one from long lists.

  2. Select the star symbol in the desired list (or in several lists if necessary).

    -> The Star is colored yellow .

    -> The desired element is now added to the favorites list.

    1. Optional you can click on the folder icon with the plus sign an intermediate step, a list or sublist (and then the star symbol Select).

      -> The New sublist dialog box opens (example using a sublist).

      1. Enter the name of the sublist under Name.

      2. In the Select parent list list field, select the parent element (or the parent element is already preselected).

      3. Confirm with New sublist.

        -> The sublist is displayed.

        Example: Three sublists have been created in the "List 2" list.

    2. Optionally, you can create a new list by clicking on the + New list button.

      Enter the desired name and an optional comment in the New list dialog box.

  3. When your actions are complete, close the dialog box by clicking on Close.

    -> You and others can now open the favorite at a later time.
