In the following example, a key should be added in order to be able to assign a prefix to the PARTsolutions attributes.

Both the standard attributes, as well as the extra attributes (see Section 2.3.5.3.2, “Block [CadDocumentAttributes] - Transfer user defined attributes ”) are given this prefix.

  1. Under PARTadmin -> Category -> PARTsolutions -> Configuration files -> $CADENAS_SETUP -> ifadeskinv.cfg open the block AttributeMapping(is3d).

  2. Insert a key (see also Section 1.7.1.4.3, “Editing blocks, keys and key values”).

    The key value is the attribute prefix.

  3. Save the setting in PARTadmin.

  4. Export a part to Inventor.

    -> All PARTsolutions attributes contain only the prefix (in this example "CNS_").
