Click on the Select editable standard form [Select an editable default shape] button.

Browse to a suitable Class 2.0 proprietary part (here in the example "Pipe bend with flange").

Open the part by double-clicking.

-> The settings dialog is opened.

Set adjustable variable values directly in the 3D preview, until the displayed model complies with your requirements.

Note At first set the elbow's outer diameter and then the inner one and the flange diameter. (The inner diameter cannot be larger than the outer one.)

Note Make sure that the Include component size [Include Part Size] option is deactivated, as not all rows per table are geometrically indexed by default in manufacturer catalogs, otherwise you may receive zero hits. If you have deactivated the option, you only have to determine and select the appropriate table row in the table of the hit afterwards. For the same reason, set the required minimum similarity to 70. For proprietary parts, 100% of all rows per table are usually indexed. A 100% indexing can be made up for administratively at any time. If 100% indexing is available, the quickest way to achieve this is of course to activate the Include part size [Include Part Size] option. In this example we set 118, 120 and 124.

Finally, click Apply and search.

-> The search results are displayed. (May be you need to reduce the required similarity.)

Open the NORO part.

-> The part is displayed with different size (as a fitting size is not indexed at least).

Deactivate the Search filter option to display the complete table and check whether the appropriate size is included.

Filter the table by diameter and angle. Enter "Diameter 110-130" and "Angle 45". (You can remove all table filters again by clicking on the Reset filter [Reset filters] button).

Select row 1 and click on the Icon part for comparison . [Add part to compare]

-> The part is loaded into the part comparison.

-> This is visible from the number in the Comparison [Compare] button or the number increases by one counter.

Click on the Compare button.

-> The Parts comparison [Part compare] dialog opens.

-> Activate the Use current search part from the 3D shape search [Use current search part from 3D Shape Search] option.

Click on the Compare button.

-> Search part and results part are opened in comparison.

Click on the Automatic alignment button under Additional functions [Additional features] > Comparison functions [Compare functions].

If required, select the part in one of the superimposed states. Move and/or swivel the part using axes and rotation circles.

In the same way you can compare any result parts with each other.
