  • Cached: RFS2 data under /service/fs ($CADENAS_DATA, Setup, and Site Setup), /FileService, and /webapps.

  • Never cached: WebSocket connections (license tunneling, MZCOM, among others) are transparently passed through to the main server. Personalized content and user-specific session information are also not cached.

[Tip]Tip

Pros One cache server is usually sufficient per location. The cache is purely for performance optimization: If it fails, the clients continue to function—after switching from CADENAS_APPSERVER, they can connect directly to the main server.
