The simultaneous core and nominal diameter representation of threads is not possible in 3D drawings, but is required in the 2D drawing derivation of the respective CAD program. Thread lines are automatically created in the PARTdesigner (Sketcher) as cosmetic elements during thread creation.

In the PARTdataManager the thread lines are invisible as cosmetic elements within the 3D geometry. They only become visible in 2D derivations of the component. | |

If the buttons for creating a thread are not visible, activate the Thread [Threads] item in the context menu of the toolbar.
