5.17.4.7. Differences Compared to Locally Installed Catalogs

  • Cloud catalogs are not installed via PARTadmin ; instead, they are updated in Linkmanager using the Update button or automatically via a task.

  • Locally installed catalogs will continue to be updated via the catalog installation process.

  • Only projects that have been assigned an ERP number are saved locally. However, the entire catalog is still visible in 3Dfindit.

  • The Update Manager [Update manager] is used the same way for both types of catalogs.
