Save time on the side of catalog modeling. Just define all materials used in your catalog ONE TIME and then simply assign them to parts or faces (also Blends and Sweeps) with a click. Inconvenient repeated declaration of RGB color code is not necessary.
Simple settings like color, transparency, roughness, metallic and simple color textures are sufficient for material definition.
