Up to now automatic dimensioning has only been used in the 2D derivations. As of V10 these are visualized in the PARTdataManager 3D view in addition.

Available 2D dimensionings are blended in for certain views. When turning to the side the dimensionings are hidden.

In the 3D toolbar you can find a new button Show Dimensionings . When clicking on the button you can show or hide the dimensionings.

Yellow points at the respective views signalize if dimensioning views are available, and if yes, in which views.

Create dimensionings in eCATALOGsolutions

Dimensionings and annotations can be set in the project parametrically, thus are available in PARTdataManager for the 2D derivation and are transferred to the CAD system during the export.

Horizontal, vertical and parallel dimensioning	Radial dimensioning	Angular dimensioning	Annotations / Position numbers for list of material

Dimensioning parameters don't have to be set in a text file anymore. Now the procedure is much easier via an own dialog named "Dimensionings" in PARTdataManager.

Switching the dialog area on and off happens via context menu of the toolbars.

The dimensionings are created directly in the 3D view of PARTdataManager.
