A TestMeta run for extensive directories may possibly take several hours.
As of V12.6 there is the function . This gives you the possibility to cancel, but in contrary to the function not to lose already found results.
Once having clicked in the dialog QA Check Settings a TestMeta run is started and the docking window QA-Check is opened.
When clicking on the button the following message appears:
The current step is canceled and then already completed segments are continued!
Projects are tested in the segments Project tests (e.g. "Check file names", "Check images"), Tables tests, Value range tests (e.g. "Check short name", "Check order number") and Catalogue tests: (e.g. Check short name for duplicates).
Projects initiated but not finished in any segment are canceled, so will remain in their initial state, the same as with .
Finished projects from the previous section will be continued in the next section and run through all sections (assemblies only continue, if all single parts continue).
The results of all projects (finished and canceled) are transferred to PARTproject.
With the options of the "Mode" list field you can filter results during the run or just as well after finished run.
The
Canceled filter offers you the
possibility to quickly see if a project has been canceled or not.
Furthermore you can see in which test segment (e.g. Project tests | Catalogue tests | Value range tests | Tables tests) the canceling happened.
Details can be found under Section 5.8.2.1.12.5, “ TestMeta run” in eCATALOGsolutions Manual.
