2.7.2.3.4. Provide Data and Certificates

The container reads and writes catalog data to a network share. The share must be mounted before the container starts—if it is remounted later, the container will see an empty directory. On Windows, mount it within the WSL distribution:

sudo mkdir -p /media/windowsshare
sudo mount -t drvfs '\\SERVER\share' /media/windowsshare

The path in the container must match the prefix specified in the configuration; incoming requests are mapped to this path. If the application server sends different paths, you should also mount a separate configuration folder and adjust the path mapping there.

For HTTPS, create a writable folder containing server.pfx and password.txt or cert.pem and key.pem (other names are only supported via environment variables). The folder must be writable because the service extracts the files from it when it starts; the password must be stored in the file, never on the command line. On Windows, place the folder in the Linux directory of the distribution, not on a Windows drive.
