In the PARTdesigner, variables are used, which are components of formulas for their part. Formulas of complex constructions are extensive again so that syntactical errors or unnecessary characters could creep in. Through various optimizing modes such formulas can be cleared out.

	Especially when mirroring and rotating parts, it is recommended to use Formula optimizer. Otherwise terms would be extended at each action and could exceed the maximally allowed number of characters, namely 256.
