4.1.6.  Support of company-internal workflows

Request ERP number: Request for part release by email using PARTdataManager

  • User requests the part creation in the ERP system by email

    The part is not available (signalized by a red status light)

  • The respective dataset information is transferred to the standardization department or the administrator, for example via email

  • Advantage: Part creation is controlled by a responsible person.

  • Disadvantage: Users may possibly have to wait for the release; additional effort for the ERP administrator.

Using VBS-Scripting further processes can be integrated in the PARTdataManager user interface, which enhance already existing workflows.
