3.5.4.2.3.3. Revit neutral Shared Parameters

For the creation of neutral Shared Parameters CADENAS provides its own Shared Parameter file (which is delivered with the software [CADENAS_SOFTWARE\iface\revit\Common\CNS_Shared_Parameters.txt]).

Precondition: The Revit classification has to be installed.

In order for a value to be available in Revit as Shared Parameter, it has to be assigned as attribute of the class CADENAS Revit shared parameter file.

Class "CADENAS Revit shared parameter file"

Class "CADENAS Revit shared parameter file"

All parameters are assigned to this class (Feature-Name = GUID).

Assigning a table variable of the PARTsolutions characteristic attribute table happens in the dialog box Class variables, in the table column Variable. Assigning a fixed value via table column Value is not recommended, e.g. because conversion problems of the unit may occur.

The CADENAS SharedParameterClassification is part of the configuration file ifrevit.cfg.

Example

Following example shall give a short overview which steps are required and how the result will look like.
