Up to now NX created Thread features from their raw parameters (diameter, pitch, depth, etc) and not their Standard table parameters.
From 2007, NX allows the creation of threads with mapped standard thread data, which can contain more information than the basic data in the PS3 file. This standard mapping is now implemented in the PSOL interface with V12.7. If the mapping is successful, the thread dialog shows the "Thread Table " entry under Input.
Case in point: Some metric threads have inch equivalent notations, such as "G 1 3/8", which are lost during export, as the "Manual" NX Thread Feature input does not provide any fields for "thread standard name" (THSTDNAME), "thread type" (THTYPE), or "alternative thread size notation" (THDESC).
With this enhancement, a customer is able to use this data to map, e.g. "G 1 3/8" to a full standard thread specification in their (possibly customized) "NX_Thread_Standard.xml".
Not every single thread can be mapped precisely to a standard entry. NX UI allows for a "best match" approximation to be used instead. If this is also not possible, there is a fallback to the "manual" input.

You can also see immediately in the Part Navigator whether a mapping has worked. In the negative case, a thread designation is missing before "Symbolic Thread".
If a thread standard exists in NX but could not be mapped with the expressions in ifugnx.cfg, block [ThreadStandardMap], you can specify this entry directly and thus ensure a mapping from PSOL to NX.
