Purpose of the blend feature

  • Optimization of the construction process

    The blend feature should always be the last step, meaning at the very end of modelling. (Only exception is, if there are complications with the tangent continuous.)

  • Enabling of blends in more installation situations than before

  • Reduction of features

  • Reducing the expenditure of time, particularly for use cases, in which a blend can not be easy integrated in the sketch

  • Simplifying the post-processing of blends

  • Simplifying the rendering
