5.8.2.2.6.  Rename project

  1. Select the desired project file and click on the context menu command Rename project.

    -> The same-named dialog box is opened.

  2. Specify the new name for the project and confirm with OK.

    -> The project file is renamed.

    -> When the project is renamed, all sub-files, such as *.3db, *.tab and *.tac, files etc., are also renamed accordingly. This ensures that the project-internal assignment is retained.

[Note]Note

Project files can be part of an assembly. In this case, the assembly must also be "informed" of the new project name. Otherwise, the assembly will no longer be able to "find" the individual parts in question and will therefore no longer be able to assemble the assembly.

Therefore, activate the Customize references in ass [Adapt links in assemblies] emblies radio button and enter the path of the ass [Assemblies path] emblies (Browse ... ) in which the assembly is located.
