7.6.2.9.2.2. Variant 2: Guide curve and cross-sectional sketch separately created

Precondition: Guiding sketch and cross-sectional sketch are already available.

  1. Select both the guiding curve and the cross-section sketch.

    [Note]Note

    The pattern origins of cross-sectional sketch and guiding sketch have to be in the same plane, however, not necessarily one above the other.

  2. Click on the context menu command Create basic history [Create sweep base].

    -> The Basic history [Sweep base] tab page opens.

    If other progression curves are available, you can select them in the list field under Select sketch with progression [Select guiding curve].

  3. Confirm with OK.

    -> The sweep is created.

Alternatively, you can initially select only the cross-section sketch and then select the corresponding progression curve in the list box on the Basic progression [Sweep base] tab page (if several are available).
