Find topological linear dimensions with the full text search [Full-text search]:

This enhancement becomes evident especially when searching in own part catalogs, because here characteristic values are not necessarily found in the table.

Hits from the topology are displayed in a separate Topology column and are highlighted in yellow.

To make the function available, please carry out the following steps.

  1. In the configuration file partsol.cfg, block INDEX:LUCENE, key TopologyCatalogs add the desired catalog path in the following form:

    cat/<catalog_name>

    Example:

  2. Update the geometrical index (if not up-to-date).

    See Section 1.4.3.6.6, “ Index management: Context menus ” -> Geo search index [Geometrical search index] -> Create/update [Create/Update].

  3. In any case update the full-text search index.
