In case the below error message appears, please at first check the stated six proposals for problem solving.

  • Regarding point 2 of the error message. - Check whether a temporary license has expired [- Check if a temporary license has expired.]

    Call up the Licenses tabbed page via PARTadmin -> License management [License administration] category. Check the expiration date [Expiration date]. Expired licenses can be recognized by the red background color.

  • Regarding point 3 of the error message. - Check whether the hardware lock is plugged in. [- Check if the dongle is plugged in correctly.] (If the license is obtained via a dongle)

  • Regarding point 4 of the error message. - Check whether there is a connection to the FLM server. [- Check if a connection to the FLM server exists.] (If you are working with FLM licenses)

    With a license server installation , there must be an intact connection to the license server at every client workstation . Check whether a license server is displayed under PARTadmin -> License management [License administration] category -> General tabbed page -> Floating dialog area.

    If no FLM server is displayed, proceed as follows:

    1. Open PARTadmin -> Category License management [License administration] -> Tabbed page General.

    2. Deactivate the Use license server [Using the License Server] checkbox (if it is activated).

    3. Activate the Use license server [Using the License Server] checkbox. When the checkbox is ticked, the network is automatically searched for available license servers and these are displayed in the Select FLM Server... [Select FLM server...] dialog box.

      Select the desired license server and confirm with OK.

      You also have the following options:

      • Search FLM server again [Restart scan for FLM servers]

      • Specify FLM server manually... [Manually specify FLM server...]

        If a firewall is blocking, you can specify the FLM server manually.

    4. Finally save your selection.
