2.5.2.2.1. Layer settings

The AutoCAD interface directly uses the settings from the Autocad DWG 2D settings dialog.

Example:

  1. Load the desired part in PARTdataManager.

  2. Create the desired derivation.

  3. Select the Autocad DWG 2D option in the Export menu under Export to file [Export in file] -> 2D CAD formats.

    -> The same-named settings dialog is opened.

  4. In this example, the layer name under Hidden lines [Hidden Lines] is set to "Test layer".

  5. Transfer the part to AutoCAD.

  6. In AutoCAD, open the layer options.

    -> The settings have been applied.
