4.13.3.1. Online replication

  • As soon as data is already available with a number in the LinkDB, it is possible to identify data records using the number, as this is absolutely unique.

  • In the ERP-System or the PDM-System, which takes over ERP assignments, a trigger (SAP: BAPI) takes care of the transfer of data changes into Part Solutions.

  • The trigger calls up PARTdataCenter with the dataset to be updated; PARTdataCenter adds the dataset in the LinkDB.

  • Triggers must be written specifically for the existing ERP system.

The data are read in from a CSV file.

The only requirement is that the corresponding ident number is already available in the LINKDB.
