Note The entry under Short name (max. 16 characters) is mandatory. In addition, if available (depending on the selected project type), the table file must also be selected in the list field under Table file.

The number of characters used should be based on the character limit of the "receiving" CAD system, as the short designation is transferred to CAD as the component name during export.

The short name must be unique and should preferably include the DIN number and the value of the variable "NENN" (represented with a placeholder) (e.g. “DIN1587_$NENN.”).
