Projects can be classified in PARTproject under Settings -> Classification tab, projects can be classified on the basis of various classifications.
Installed classifications are displayed on their own tabbed page:
By Countries: Classification according to countries, where the respective company distributes their products or has subsidiaries
CNS: CADENAS classification used for e.g. CAD integration (placement information, published elements and attributes)
eClass: Standardized classification system for product groups and attributes
ETIM (Electro-technical information model) 4.0: Classification designed to meet the requirements of the electrical industry
ICS (International Classification Standards): International classification system to classify all economic sectors and activities that use technical standards
IFC: Classification using an international open standard to describe building and construction industry data
Standardization system provided by CADENAS. Structured in three parts according to DIN number.
UNSPSC: Product classification given by the United Nations. The standard shows an universal classification schema for different product groups for worldwide use.

Although the up-to-dateness of the classifications is ensured immediately before the release date, it is still possible that newer versions are already available at the time of installation. It is therefore advisable to check and, if necessary, update via PARTadmin -> Catalog update -> Online.
