1.3.11.1.3.  CloudNavigator example - Topology search: Compare similar searches directly

With the topology search [Topology search] in the CloudNavigator, you have the option of directly comparing the results of two slightly different searches.

  1. Call up the topology search [Topology search] and set Longest extension [Largest dimension] greater than or equal to (>=) [greater or equals (>=)] 1000 mm.

  2. Click on Apply [Commit].

-> You will see the settings in the search methods section.

  3. Click on Start Cloud Navigator.

-> The view switches to the tab page CloudNavigator with the search results.

  4. Now call up the topology search [Topology search] again using the context menu command.

-> The Topology search dialog box opens.

  5. Change the value to 2000.

    Now you have two options:

    1. Change search [Change Search]

The results of the previous search are deleted and a new search is carried out with the changed settings.

    2. New search [New Search]

The results of the previous search are retained and another additional search is carried out with the changed settings.

  6. In this example, New search [New Search] is to be executed.

-> The second search with the changed value still delivers only 1 result.

You can compare the results of both search runs directly side by side.

[Note]Note

The procedure described above also applies if you add another feature.
