3Dfindit should only run within a Server-Client environment! Even it is only about a single-user installation, it has to be set up in the way as within a Server-Client environment. "Localhost" does not work. The computer name has to be stated and then this gets the certificate from the Windows certificate store.

Meaning that is will use HTTPS. -> That's why SSL encryption is mandatory.

The Chain of Trust must be guaranteed! Source of certificate is Windows certificate store ideally. For details see Section 3.4, “SSL encryption ”.
