CADENAS and ALLPLAN intensify their cooperation

A new project by the two companies makes it easier for users to work in the BIM software

Good news for ALLPLAN users and manufacturers from the construction industry: CADENAS and ALLPLAN are working on ensuring that users of the BIM software will in future be able to access the components on 3Dfindit directly in the programme and implement them in their designs. The linking of 3Dfindit and ALLPLAN is intended to streamline the planning process of construction projects for architects, structural engineers and all other designers.

"Through the planned integration of the 2D and 3D manufacturer components of CADENAS, we want to further optimise the user-friendliness of our software and set new standards in the area of data quality, such as sustainability data", comments Dr. Detlef Schneider, Managing Director at ALLPLAN.

"Our collaboration with ALLPLAN opens up completely new possibilities for architects and specialist planners. By providing intelligently enriched BIM data, including in the PRE-fabrication area, valuable time can be saved in building design", explains Jürgen Heimbach, CEO of CADENAS.

Further details of the collaboration are yet to be announced. ALLPLAN is one of the most important software solutions in the field of BIM for architects, engineers and designers. More than 240,000 users worldwide work with the software of the Nemetschek Group. As a result, manufacturers who present their building products on 3Dfindit will reach even more planners from the fields of architecture, technical building equipment, infrastructure construction, electrical engineering, building automation, PRE-fabrication etc. in the future.
